#728: Customer Service

August 13, 2012

Notes from the Manager

Related Strips: #727: Box Office of the Dead

Thanks and apologies are due to the four Multiplex Movie Sponsors featured in this strip— (from left to right in panel 2) Kevin Rubin, Phat Do, Kirk Damman, and Chris Wood. They were in last Thursday's comic, too, but I forgot to mention their names.

I drew an "alternate last panel" for the latest Hatefarm, which is a webcomic you should read if you are a horrible person like me. (It's basically a sketch of Walt from Breaking Bad, but hey. It's a drawing I did.)

To be continued on Thursday…

Trailer Watch: Jenny Slate in Obvious Child

Thursday, April 17, 2014

This apparently hit big at Sundance, and who doesn’t like Jean-Ralphio’s sister on Parks & Rec? Okay, maybe a lot of people, but Jenny Slate is fuckin’ funny. Anyway. Obvious Child is an indie comedy-drama about a young potty-mouth comedian (Slate) who finds out she’s pregnant and… just watch this.

Obvious Child was written and directed by Gillian Robespierre. It hits theaters on June 6, 2014. It’s so indie, its official movie site is on Tumblr.
