#701: Lockdown, Part Eleven

May 17, 2012

Notes from the Manager

Related Strips: #698: Lockdown, Part Eight; #699: Lockdown, Part Nine; #700: Lockdown, Part Ten

Just another strip or two before we get back to the vector stuff for a little bit (and finish up Chapter 28 in the process). We've got to get the characters caught up to the present, don't we?

See you Monday — or, maybe, sooner if you live in the Twin Cities area!

Minneapolitans, or whatever we're called! I will be at SpringCon this Saturday and Sunday at the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand. Come say hi, peruse my stacks of original art from this zombie arc, get sketches, buy books, whatever. If you see a pretty redhead talking to me about how much she thinks Multiplex is "just okay," please rescue me.

Trailer Watch: The Theory of Everything trailer

Friday, August 15, 2014

There’s no telling how the film will turn out, but the trailer for The Theory of Everything impressed me by having a respectably balanced focus on both the life of Stephen Hawking (and relationship with his first wife) and the work he is so admired for, unlike so many other film biographies of so-called Great Men.

James Marsh (Man on Wire) directs Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones in the November 7th release.
