If some of you could take a little time to fill out this brief survey, it would be appreciated. The survey is completely anonymous and will help keep the Burst Direct ads on the Multiplex site well-targeted.
Also, I'm looking to bring in a co-writer (or two?) to Movie Make-out, writing news entries and occasional reviews. Drop me an email at gordon at multiplexcomic dot com with an attachment or link to some writing samples (ideally, but not necessarily, about movies), if you're interested, and we can discuss things further. The majority of what I need you to write are news items, not reviews, though, so a sample news item or two in the style of the current news items (short, to-the-point, no bullshit, no empty hype) would be very helpful.
Be aware that MM is targeting a left-of-mainstream angle; although I love (some) big-budget Hollywood movies, those are already overly covered by the geek sites, so coverage of those will be bare-minimum, and MM will not run any reviews of GI Joe or whatever. In other words, if your idea of film consists entirely of action movies and anime, don't bother. Serious inquiries only, please; this is a PAID position (although it will be a pittance, sorry). Sorry, found someone already! I'll make the announcement of whom it is soon.
