This is a couple of days old, but a second trailer for Thor: The Dark World is up, and while Natalie Portman is still out of place, but this looks a pretty solid step up from the first one.
I think Jane’s gonna bite it in this movie, though. What about you? (Her dying would have worked better if she were in The Avengers, which I’d bet was the original plan, until scheduling issues or whatever had them replace Port with Stellan Skarsgård. Just a guess, though.)

And yeah, I’m with you on the Jane dying thing. Portman apparently wasn’t all that up for coming back and really had to be convinced.
Portman wasn’t in The Avengers because she was pregnant. Stellan Skarsgard wasn’t a replacement, he was always supposed to be there (as per the post-credits scene of Thor)
Precisely, although the pregnancy would’ve been awesome drama between them in The Avengers. I’m really not fond of Portman as an actress – wish they could’ve gotten somebody a bit more emotive (even if she’s just cannon fodder).
