NOTES FROM THE MANAGER

Related strips: #109: Dare to Dream; #226: Agree to Disagree?, Part One

This is Thursday's update a bit early, because I wanted to get it up with an April date in the archives, since it obviously takes place later in the same night as #s 226–228. (Anal retentive, I know.) Sorry for not sticking to a regular update schedule this week; I wanted to wrap up this storyline this week, because May is chock full of geek-movie goodness that I simply can't ignore.

The website Jason is reading, by the way, is Expelled Exposed, from the National Center for Science Education, and reveals Expelled as the "anti-science propaganda" that it is. (Those of you who watched even part of the seven-minute super-trailer the other day probably already picked up on that.)

It's not even just bad science and logical fallacies; there are blatant factual misrepresentations (read: lies) in some of its examples of scientists who have supposedly been persecuted for their adherence to Intelligent Design.

Anyway. Come back Friday for the last in this series of strips, promise. And then: Iron Man! Monday!

Update: Speaking of Iron Man, when (not if) you see it this weekend, the word on the street says to stick around 'til after the credits. 'Nuff said.
